Reportedly NYC mayor Adams plans to give each illegal immigrant up to $10,000 with no questions asked. In the unexpected effects rule Adams just made it easier for Texas to get illegals on a bus to NYC and Adams just lost his re-election campaign... Think there's a business idea to take classic car body types or cars that no longer exist and give them the EV "guts" of a Tesla. Think people would pay a premium for that and still pay much less than what some of these cars go for at auction... Never forget... The historic gun manufacturer Remington is moving from New York to Georgia. All those jobs and taxes gone. Elections have consequences... A Norwegian MP has nominated Elon Musk for his work preserving free speech in specific by buying Twitter (now X) - I support that 100%... Another reminder... There's a saying in engineering that you can't build what that you don't understand. This is both beautiful and dangerous. Some things like viruses don't need to be built even if you can... The new College Football Playoff format will put the highest ranked member of one of the Power 4 conferences (the Power 5 minus the Pac 12) at seeds 1-4. Meaning that even if Notre Dame is ranked 1st in the nation they would still be seeded no higher than 5th. This probably won't happen but could be the only thing that could make the Fighting Irish finally join a major conference and give up being an Independent in football... While we're at it let's get a Nobel Prize for Clarence Thomas... Heard the term "shit termite" the other day and now I have a new favorite insult... Reportedly former British PM Boris Johnson demanded $1 million to be interviewed by Tucker Carlson. Think this says a lot about both how corrupt politicians can be and the extortion corporate media will pay for access. Of course Johnson will probably say his people just threw out that figure because Boris “jokingly” said “they’d have to give me a million dollars for me to agree to be interviewed by that guy.” However, we would never have heard about this bribe if Carlson had agreed to pay it. And Johnson’s people would have also had “conditions” attached telling Carlson what questions he could ask…
