About 90% of the people I see still wearing masks are college age. I weep for future generations because you can see they are being taught to be fearful... Understand there's a rumor that groomers at Disney and Netflix are in a bidding war on a movie script that portrays former Penn State coach Jerry Sandusky as a misunderstood hero... Red Sox fans should be reminded that Boston traded Andrew Benintendi to Kansas City for a bag of balls and now Benny is hitting .372 for the Royals... Movie crossover idea - Field of Dreams meets Ghostbusters... Saw something where a girl promised her best friend in fifth grade that if she had a child she'd name the baby Megatron. I love that idea. Baby names should be committed to based on what you loved or most admired at a fifth grade level. If I had committed to baby names in fifth grade - the first and middle names for a son would have been Dave Cowens and for a daughter Raquel Welch. How great would that have been? What are your fifth grade baby name choices?... Saturday would have been Max Planck's 164th birthday. Planck along with Paul Dirac are the two most underappreciated geniuses of the 20th century... Wait - did the Chief Financial Officers of both Pfizer and Moderna both leave their positions as CFO's the past week? If so that timing is very fishy. Just saying... The NFL's Draft is this week and as always I think you should follow Bill Burr's advice when it come to the NFL Draft - don't watch it. Of course Burr used much more colorful language to say that... There are many medical breakthroughs just on the horizon involving stem cells. This leads me to wonder if there is some sort of limit to the number of stem cells the body can create? If modern medicine can activate the body to turn a dormant stem cell into a needed cell somewhere in the body - does the body then create a new stem cell to replace the dormant one that was just used or is there a limit?... The Brooklyn Nets can be eliminated from the playoffs Monday night and when that comes to pass the NBA Karma Gods will have spoken loud and clear. The Golden State Warriors will be advancing further into the playoffs than Kevin Durant who spurned them for Brooklyn and the Boston Celtics will have the pleasure of eliminating Kyrie Irving one of the most disliked players in any sport to Boston fans. So let it be written - so let it be done... As always if this column has made you smile or think - don't be afraid to hit the like button.
