There was no divorced couples or any character having an abortion in the Harry Potter world. JK Rowling thought that children and young adults shouldn't have to deal with such topics. She was right but did it in such a way that most adults never even noticed... Saying a guy has a phallus made of dough is a great insult... A change I’d like to see is for pro sports in America to adopt ref relegation. If a ref or umpire makes an egregiously bad call they are sent down to the minors and a good ref from the minors or college is bumper up to the pros. Angel Hernandez would be doing amateur softball leagues by now… Learn something new every day: the phrase “the big sleep” as a metaphor for death was started by Raymond Chandler. People have been using that phrase my whole life and I assumed it was older… Started a petition to change Katherine Maher’s first name to Karen as a precondition of her keeping her job as CEO and NPR receiving any more federal funding. Really just a joke and I don’t expect it to have an effect but it doesn’t count unless you actually do it. If you have a moment sign the petition. Thanks!...
