Personally I have seen many, many positive changes since Elon Musk has taken over Twitter X. The number of users have reportedly increased from 368 million in 2022 to about 541 million today. By simple math that means Elon may have increased the value per user from $8,363.60 to $12,295.40. No small feat... Going to have to call this Ridley's Law (after Matt Ridley) but the renewable energy industry creates its own vested interest by being so inefficient in energy production and therefore increasing political traction and flow of public funds. It was ever thus... Keep in mind that supposedly Charles Darwin's On the Origin of Species was not introduced for the concept of evolution but to instead to debunk the idea of supernatural intelligence in the universe (meaning the Earth). The idea of survival of the fittest was actually introduced later by others. It wasn't until the 20th century that anyone even documented a case of natural selection in action... In the Stephen King book The Stand - it was natural immunity that saved all the main characters from the deadly manmade virus. Never forget that... The Boston Red Sox have the exact same record after 103 games this season as they had last (56-47). Yet my interest has dropped from around a 60% level to about a 10% level. Maybe I've finally just had enough... By 1865, Brazil was the last free country in the Western Hemisphere to tolerate slavery. They tried to do away with slavery by importing Chinese workers but found them inferior. Just saying... Sorry but if you've had even a single Covid shot your risks of getting heart inflammation have greatly increased and you should get yourself checked. No matter what your age... Historical fact that may only interest me: Julia Ward Howe who wrote the iconic Battle Hymn of the Republic was married to the abolitionist and member of John Brown's Secret Six Samuel Gridley Howe... Who knew? Mexico reportedly gets about 6 million more international travelers than the US. That's surprising. And now the EU is saying the are going to charge US and North American travelers $7 and have to wait 14 days to travel to Europe. .. The phrase "anchors aweigh" means the anchor has cleared the sea bottom and that the vessel can begin it's journey. Now for the most part  it is just used by people who have never been on a ship...
