Miscellaneous thoughts and observations.

We have to come up with a new word for "reporters" because they are not "reporting" the news but instead spinning propaganda - so calling them reporters becomes Orwellian. How about calling them "liberal artists?" They all have liberal arts degrees and they are basically bullshit artists at this point... Instant Entropy would be a good name for a construction company specializing in demolition... They say great wars happen 20-40 years apart because that's the amount of time it takes for people, politicians, and generals to forget the scarring from the last war and for younger people who didn't experience the last war to believe "This time it will be different." This idea also helps explain the 40-years between Jimmy Carter's disastrous liberal policies and the catastrophic progressive Biden Administration. Hopefully, like after World War II the rallying cry will be "Never again!"... At the point now that whenever I see a commercial on regular TV that after a few seconds I look at the bottom righthand corner where in my mind it's supposed to say "Skip Ads"... Part of me feels sorry for Pete Buttigieg. He took the job of Transportation Secretary probably thinking it was a safe harbor from which to keep his name in the political ring with little risk or heavy lifting involved. Instead he finds himself a joke and now widely considered the worst Transportation Secretary in history! And that's saying something as most people couldn't even name another Transportation Secretary... Think I've long had a problem being "well adjusted" because to me that seemed a synonym for "conformist." Only when I reached an age when I genuinely didn't give a fuck what other people think did I find myself being "well adjusted" without being conformist... Editing My Reality would be a good name for a blog... John Heisman - the man for whom the Heisman Trophy is named - used to supplement his income when he was coach of Georgia Tech by being a Shakespearean actor in the offseason. I find that an interesting tidbit of history. Can you imagine Nick Sabin doing Hamlet after the bowl season is over?... Fact: Donald Trump has not been defeated in the Octagon by any President living or dead. You can't argue with facts!... Hope everyone had a happy and safe New Year’s Eve. Went out to dinner, then dancing, then fell asleep on the couch watching football before midnight stuck.
