Today is Championship Sunday in the NFL. Two great games before the final one at the Super Bowl. Hard to believe there's some out there glad that football is almost over... Who knew that in 2024 I'd find John Fetterman more and more lucid and worthy of respect while at the same time he's no doubt angering the unhinged fringe of his own party. Maybe he sees the way the pendulum is swinging and is getting ahead of the curve?... Wonder how many suicides are simply people who had the hiccups and couldn't take it any more... It's common sense that the less you weigh and the better shape you are in - the better you feel about yourself. Now scientists are surprised that diabetes medicine that curbs one's appetite can lead to better moods... Covid in a nutshell… Good life advice from Naval Ravikant, "Society will pay you for creating things it wants. But society does not yet know how to create those thing, because if it did, they wouldn't need you"... Am I the only one who gets Leo Sayer and Richards Simmons confused?... If people in your age group use dating apps - use apps. If they use dating websites - use website. If they don't use either - get used to being alone... The Boston Celtics got their ass kicked by the Clippers last night. That was not encouraging... Kind of supporting Naval's life advice is the current state of corporate journalism with rampant layoffs and losing of millions. We are living through the birth of a new media highlighted by people like Barry Weiss and Matt Taibbi plus folks like Joe Rogan or Tucker Carlson and the death of the old. Gone are the days when people needed to get a physical "desk" at a physical newspaper or TV channel. Now people working from home or wherever and doing the best work and society is telling corporate media they don’t need them...
