SpaceX is looking to test Starlink cellular service soon. Can the rumored Tesla cell phone be far behind?... So the choice seems to be between 12-1 Big 12 champ Texas and SEC champ 12-1 Alabama. Texas fans will say the Long Horns beat the Tide by 10 in the 2nd game of the season already. Alabama fans will say its not a national championship without the SEC champ and that Texas' loss came to a 2-loss team. Get the popcorn out... A little Christmas humor… Never realized it before but General Winfield Scott took the same route to Mexico City in the Mexican-American War as Conquistador Herman Cortez did hundreds of years earlier... Sad but true that confidence increases faster than accuracy. To paraphrase Charles Bukowski - stupid people are much more confident than smart ones. Like I said - sad but true... This is scary. I mean I welcome our robot overlords... The only choice of having to chose between Texas and Alabama is to keep out undefeated Florida State. Though this choice may be popular with some they wouldn’t date. Would they?… There has to be a modern metaphor but the Army of Observation prior to the Mexican-American War quickly morphed into the Army of Invasion as soon as war was declared... This is actually something I've thought about a lot... When it comes to making decisions - I still say that nothing beats the Eisenhower matrix... The exponential nature of war - the events of the Mexican-American War are fondly remembered by Ulysses S. Grant but based upon the horrors he experienced first hand in the Civil War the events weren't scarcely big enough in his opinion in comparison to warrant reports to the HQ in DC. Then the events of WW I and then WW II then dwarfed the Civil War in historical comparison... When it comes to business or life I truly believe in the lesson I learned long ago - never lose alone. Never be afraid to ask for help...
