The history of slavery and the Civil War has been brought up many times these past few days and I have to agree with Ulysses S. Grant that since slavery was one of the root causes of the war the settlement could never be truly won without its eradication. This was not a war about Secession - it was about slavery... So Governor Mike DeWine of Ohio may have been acting out of financial interest instead of simply right and wrong. What good does it to a man to profit the entire Earth but lose his soul? Or in this case Ohio… Chris Sale was traded to the Atlanta Braves from Boston. Will the last player to leave the Red Sox please turn out the lights... Diet tip from Tim Ferriss: make sure your first meal of the day is not a binge meal but is high in protein and insoluble fiber... A case worth keeping your eye on it the NYT vs Open AI. Not many cases where I would be rooting for the NYT but this is one. Plagiarism is wrong whether it’s a human doing it or a machine. That’s what this case is really about… This stat cracks me up! In the last 14 games Vanderbilt in 2-14 against the SEC while Ohio State is just 1-13. Seriously cracks me up. Lou Holtz thinks Ryan Day is soft... Most Americans didn’t know who Mike DeWine was before. Now they think he’s a scumbag… Saddened by the news of Tom Wilkinson’s passing aged 75. He was one of the great actors. Always amazed how he was Falcone in Batman Begins while Eric Roberts played Falcone (called Marconi in the movie because of the change of actor but it was supposed to be the same guy) in The Dark Knight. They were both so seamlessly that nobody even commented… Looking forward to the new Pop Tarts flavor - Red Rum (you may have to be old to get that one)… This Russell Wilson stat also cracks me up. Funny because its true!...
