Have to wonder if the government's release of all those UFO videos actually helps Scientology's case to be accepted as a religion (and that glorious tax-free status that comes with it). Why shouldn't we worship these glorious ET's?... My mind works differently than most - if I was really rich I'd pay for a billboard to be put in Los Angeles' Skid Row that would say, "If you lived here - you'd be home now!" Signed Gavin Newsome... Truly believe that some people believe that next up for the Supreme Court is to take away a woman's right to vote... Amused by the rumors (and those spreading them) that Utah might trade Donovan Mitchell to Miami. No way Danny Ainge helps out Pat Reilly that way. No way!... Think I've come to the conclusion that "nothing" moves faster than the speed of light and that "nothing" is the absence of "information" which is why the universe is expanding faster than the speed of light. "Information" also moves faster than the speed of light but not as fast as "nothing."  "Information" creates matter and energy at the sub-Planck quantum level and nothing made of matter or energy can move faster than the speed of light. Does that make sense to the physics geeks out there?... Recently was told of a great name for a Wi-Fi network - "Pretty Fly for a Wi-Fi." You may have to be over 35-years old to get the reference... June 22nd was National Onion Rings Day. I would suggest moving that "holiday" back to June 10th so it can be in synch with the airing of the final episode of The Sopranos which first ran June 10, 2007. Onion Rings were perhaps Tony's last meal... In 1900 just 21% of the world population was literate while today it stands at 86% - yet most people still choose not to read books. That boggles my mind... Who knew? Before Evel Knievel became famous as a daredevil bike rider he had a brief stint as a semi-pro hockey player... Norm Macdonald's mind knew no horizon. I miss Norm... Learning that the Yankees logo was designed to honor the first NYC policeman to die in the line of duty makes it slightly harder to dislike the Yankees... As always if this column has made you smile or think - don't be afraid to hit the like button.
