I often wonder if Asia takes China allowing Covid to escape from a lab in Wuhan much more seriously than it's being taken in America. Also wonder how much our politics and culpability in paying for the virus strain has to do with the US's stance... Wonder if this ban on TikTok also means those spam emails from TikTok will end. No idea how my email got on that list. Why doesn't Congress ban those? Because they use the same source for campaign emails?... Reading on a screen vs reading a paper book... Combining increased Chinese made EV's using Chinese made chips all under the control of the CCP coupled with social credit scores seems like a recipe for disaster or the plot to the script of a new James Bond movie... Calling Dan Crenshaw the Nikki Haley of Texas seems harsh but may be fair... The more woke a state is the worse they seem to be at being able to count paper ballots. Think the two are definitely related... Donald Trump calls Meta (Facebook) the "real enemy of the people" not TikTok. Never subscribed to either but this makes sense to me... I would agree with this... China being against the sale of TikTok may be the counter-argument to anyone complaining Congress acted wrongly in banning TikTok... Living a scheduled, organized life vs living a free form life with no schedule seems to be the big debate towards living a happy life. Perhaps the answer is to live a little of both methods though realizing getting too into one or the other is a recipe for disaster... Has any athlete fallen harder than Michigan basketball's Juwan Howard? The only parallel I can think of is Nebraska's Scott Frost but that's a different sport. Is there another example?... IBM announced the layoff of about 3,900 employees mostly in marketing and communications because AI can do those jobs more effectively. While I agree that AI is probably a prime mover I would not discount Elon Musk's cutting 75% of Twitter's employees without any degradation to the product... It's been said that constructing an old school wooden masted warship could take as many as 4,000 trees. Wonder had big an area has to be mined in order to make a modern metal warship?...
