The successful launch by SpaceX of Starship is perhaps the most under-reported major accomplishment by mankind in history since Chuck Yeager broke the sound barrier. And probably historically more important... The Cars released their first self-titled album 46-years ago. Loved their music but glad never saw them in concert. Friend did and he said they were awfully boring live in concert. And he was a bigger Cars fan than I was... Argentina's Javier Milei to eliminate another 50,000 government jobs. He's basically cutting the size of the government in half and the economy and people are thriving because of it... The difference one game can make. After the Mavericks win against Minnesota seemed that all the stories were about how Kyrie Irving was Dallas' missing ingredient. Today - the story seems to be how Kyrie is now 0-11 at Boston since he left... Good point... When the Democrats complain about people supporting a convicted felon - are they talking about George Floyd?... Old myths die hard... Maxx Crosby said on the Jim Rome show that he and the Raiders all saw a UFO as did the pilots on a flight back from Miami. I used to be very skeptical about UFO's but with all the evidence coming out I've basically done a 180 on the subject... Was not aware of this D-Day fact... Have said for a long time that one of the big issues coming for NIL and treating athletes as employees is going to be taxes. There's no excuse for universities not to be be paying employment taxes to all athletes who receive a payment from the college as part of the new NCAA settlement but the student with NIL money is trickier. They've spent most of their life being told full time students don't have to pay taxes. How will they find the money or deal with it if the federal government suddenly tells them otherwise?... Never thought of this. Sue the pants off them!... Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniels keeps bringing up the fact that Miami hasn't won in the playoffs the last 24-times they made it. The question becomes - is he bringing this up to take the burden off his head coaching tenure, perhaps to take the pressure off his coaching staff, or maybe the players? Doesn't change the fact they been pretty bad since Dan Marino retired... Good golf tip...

Professional athletes (and other entertainers, I believe) pay taxes in the states they play games in (if they have an income tax) - not just their state of residence/domicile. Will college athletes also be required to? If so, I can see players trying to avoid NY, NJ and other high tax states.
