Uniter Airlines announce they will be using Starlink to provide WiFi on commercial flights. United says Starlink could increase speeds by 100x over existing WifI and they will not charge for the service. Imagine some people will now be picking United if they have a choice of what airline to buy a ticket from just because of the free Starlink WiFi... In week 1 Tyreek Hill got pulled over for speeding. In week 2 Tua Tagovioloa suffered another concussion and the team awaits to see if he can ever come back. Who knows what drama for the Dolphins will unfold this week. Who needs soap operas when you have Miami… A look at all the Starlink satellites that are in space. That’s a lot of satellites… New Hampshire has signed a bill that will you to be a US citizen in order to register and an ID to actually vote in an election. Good for them. Now I have to wonder if any illegal voters will be uncovered in the Dixville Notch “first in the nation” town voting and would the national media cover that? If you’ve stayed there you know that most of the help at the resort are aliens on work visas… Seems to me that the simple fix for the NCAA’s NIL issue is for universities to charge a 10-15% fee for any endorsement deals that use the university name or team uniform. Those deals could run through the university and be approved by the NCAA. Win-win!… Bagpipes can make anything better - even Freebird… Still think health insurance companies providing benefits for gym memberships makes good financial sense. People who go to gyms are normally healthier and have less need for insurance to cover medical bills… People talk about how Tom Brady could still return to play in the NFL but we don’t get enough talk about how Bartolo Colon could do the same for an MLB team… Not all endorsement deals need or even want to be associated with a particular university - like Caitlin Clark’s commercials with State Farm for example. These are outside NCAA rules and reporting and just normal income for the athlete. This is the model I expect most Olympic athletes to follow… Don’t shoot the messenger.
