Wonder what number is larger - the people who actually watched President Biden's speech Thursday night or the people who have seen the memes comparing the speech to V for Vendetta? Seriously think the number of people who've seen the memes may be larger... I honestly cannot name a single SNL cast member. Can you? That's how irrelevant the show has become. Maybe its time to finally pull the plug... It worries me that I agree with many of Putin’s criticisms of the West. He does make some good points - evil man but his points about the West printing money aren’t wrong… One of the aspects of the Donovan Mitchell trade to Cleveland I find most amusing is that Danny Ainge and Utah got back Collin Sexton in the deal. Sexton, who was taken with the 8th pick in the 2018 NBA draft, was the draft pick that Boston (under Ainge) traded to Cleveland as a key piece of the Kyrie Irving trade. Boston got that pick by trading Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce to the Nets. It's the circle of life in the NBA... Every year I get reminded that Brady Quinn is still the all-time passing leader at Notre Dame with 11,762 yards. Think my mind always blanks on that because it wants it to be someone like Joe Montana or Joe Theisman. Perhaps that's the Fighting Irish's biggest problem - not having a great QB since the 1970's... Now that the Biden Administration has gone with the V for Vendetta optics you have to ask what's next? Have we already had Orwell's two minutes of hate? Or it that next up except as 30-second political commercials in the run-up to the midterm elections?... Reminder that we know that Louis CK liked to masturbate in front of people but we still don't know who was on Jeffrey Epstein's client list... Movie magic… Used Waterbeds would make a good band name or fantasy football team name... As always if this column has made you smile or think - don't be afraid to hit the like button.
