Would be funny if Sam Harris and Jonah Goldberg decided to do a podcast together. They could disagree about every topic except one that they'd bring up every episode... The Marvels is the latest entry into the MCU and I admit I have no interest at all in seeing the movie. And I had no problem with the original Captain Marvel. But this mish-mash? No thanks... Who knew? The analog wristwatches in most ads are set for 10:10 as that time looks like a smile to most advertisers and they want you to be happy to buy their watches. Once you see it you can't unsee it... The women's record setter for the mile is Kenyan Faith Kipyegon but many are crediting her new Adidas shoes for the record-breaking pace. Is this like Hiroji Satoh becoming a table tennis world champion because he was the first to glue both sides of the table tennis paddle? Is it innovation or the person? Personally don't care though I do think it will do wonders for sales of Adidas running shoes... Actual Vox headline "The Problem isn't Inflation. It's Prices." Doesn't Vox not understand what inflation is? Seriously... Consensus has become just another word for bullshit. Same goes for the word “expert”… Currently reading Shane Parrish’s Clear Thinking and one of the main points of the book is that most people don’t think - they just react. The secret of success is to know the difference and to reduce your unforced errors so you don’t have to play life in hard mode… Remember today is Veteran’s Day for a reason and that reason isn’t so people who never wore a uniform can have an extra day off…
