Bruce Feldman reminds us that many NFL evaluators had Michael Penix as the 4th rated QB available for the draft so his pick by Atlanta was not exactly a surprise to those in the know it seems... Would not be surprised if the Biden/Harris ticket was replaced at this summer's DNC convention but more importantly Donald Trump will probably announce his running mate at the RNC convention. Trump's show trials will keep him in the news till then. Trump's pick will ignite new enthusiasm for his campaign while no matter what happens at the DNC convention is bound to split their base... Interesting thought experiment: there were 6 QB's taken in the 1st round of the NFL Draft of these which will be the best starter in his first season? Which will be the best starter in his 3rd season? Who gets his 5th year contract picked up? I think Caleb Williams will be the top rookie QB, Drake Maye the best QB in his 3rd season, and who knows about the 5th year contract... Just saying but the GDP only grew 1.6% last quarter while inflation was much more than that. Build back better my ass... Clark University in Worcester is known for 3 things - Sigmond Freud giving a lecture there, rocket pioneer Robert Goddard being a professor there, and Jimmy Hendrix giving 2 concerts there. Did not know about about that last one... Parrot Talk is just repeating what someone else has said or written. Joe Biden seems capable of only Parrot Talk these days. All else is gibberish... Really enjoy Bill Belichick basically showing the media how to do their jobs. He’s a prime example of only A’s hire A’s and there doesn’t seem to be any A level owners with job opening in the NFL… Poor Man's Nirvana would be a good name for a Nirvana cover band (or a name for a rub and tug joint)... When do you stop saying "the new house?" We've lived in the house 6 months now. After a year? Two years? When you die?... Will future generations look at Ronald Reagan the way our generations look at Nostradamus?...
