At the DNC convention this week’s consistent message was about “moving forward” and not dwelling on the past. It wasn’t by mistake. They will use that excuse to try to diffuse any questions about Kama Harris’s last 3.5 years in the White House. They’re moving forward and not dwelling on her past… Remiss in not noting that Thursday was Yaz’s 85th birthday… To put another way - the message from the DNC about moving forward is a bizarre disclaimer you’d see on money investments that “past performance does not guarantee future results.” Well if Kamala Harris was an investment - would you put your life savings on that bet? That’s what they’re asking many to do in November… This is why I want to go back to celebrating Arbor Day when people marked the day by planting a tree. I’d get rid of Earth Day completely as its a day started by a convicted murder where people don’t actually do anything… The DNC convention was telling people not to dwell on the past while trotting out speakers like Bill Clinton, Oprah, and Michele Obama - all of which are remembered for their past importance. Isn’t that a bit hypocritical?… Reminder… Learn something new evert day: the physicist Max Born who coined the phrase “quantum mechanics” is the grandfather of Olivia Newton-John… Another reminder… Arizona had their law that anyone trying to vote in an election must first show ID to prove theyare a legal resident upheld by the Supreme Court. Now the question is how many other states will follow suit with laws of their own?… Trump on Harris’s DNC speech… Sorry this post was a bit late today.
