The Trump Administration overhauled the government Covid website saying the virus came from the Wuhan lab. Part of me wonders if this was done in part with an eye towards trade negotiations with China or to if it was done to point out that Anthony Fauci needed a Presidential pardon because he was guilty of something... Learn something new every day: have long heard the lyrics “Children of the Little Mind” in Billy Joel’s song We Didn’t Start the Fire but just learned that was the title of Orson Scott Card’s 4th book in the Ender’s saga and not a reference to a cult. Now I want to read it… Is anyone surprised that Donald Trump plans to skip the 2025 White House Correspondents dinner? I’m just surprised that they are still holding one… Think RFK Jr. played no small role in getting these documents released either… Starting to think Niall Ferguson is just Jonah Goldberg with a posh British accent. Someone should ask him to explain if tariffs and trade barriers are so bad why England employs them against the US… Love these videos and also one of my favorite songs… Both the terms “misinformation” and “disinformation” are very Orwellian in nature as both are just synonyms for lies. Think Donald Trump was more spot on when it just called them “fake news”… True story but one year we received an organ for Christmas and the two songs I learned to play were Amazing Grace and Alice Cooper’s I’m Eighteen… Michael Dell’s dad told him to concentrate on college at Texas. Phil Knight’s dad told him to concentrate on school at Oregon. Nico Iamaleava’s dad didn’t tell his son to concentrate on his college at Tennessee. Now Nico is at UCLA and has to live down his last name (I am a leaver)… Technically today - the Saturday between Good Friday and Easter Sunday is called Holy Saturday but really is anyone doing anything “holy” today? Beside maybe making sure the Easter chocolate is bought for the kids?…
