Happy Mothers Day to all the moms out there!... So the Pfizer documents show that the vaccine had a 12% efficacy not the 95% that was touted and over 1,200 people died during trials. How was this product allowed to come to market? How is this not a bigger story? It's only perhaps the biggest scandal in US history... You learn something new every day - today it was that the retirement age in China is 60-years old. Saw it written that China may try to help solve their looming demographics problem of not enough working age "citizens" by simply raising the retirement age to 65-years old. Good luck with that. Vladimir Putin got ten-times the grief, protest and discontent when he mentioned changing the current retirement benefits in Russia than he did for invading Ukraine. Would be the same for Xi Jinping... Who knew? Rudyard Kipling's actual first name is Joseph. I guess Joe Kipling just didn't have the same literary appeal as Rudyard Kipling... Not sure what type of mental defect makes people think that if they call your cell phone and you don't answer then perhaps if they call back several times only seconds apart then perhaps you'll be magically available. Think society should adopt a rule that for every time you call back in a 30-minute period the person you called gets to wait an extra hour before trying to contact you back... Hated the movie My Dinner with Andre but would be enticed to see a similar film if it were My Dinner with Sherlock Holmes or My Dinner with Mickey Mantle... One of my favorite pieces of trivia is in the movie JAWS the character Captain Quint's last name means "fifth" in Latin. In the movie he's the fifth person killed (and the last) by the shark... The term "joy ride" seems to have disappeared from the everyday vernacular. Why is that? What's not fun about taking a ride in the country with no purpose but to have fun?... Canon Inc. should come out with a line of printers that specializes in the 3D printing of guns.
