Surprised that someone hasn't come out with a line of Fainting Couches with "Trump to be Arrested" emblazoned on them... Word of the day is "contumaciously" - stubbornly or willfully disobedient of authority. We could certainly use with more contumaciously people these days... If the Russian sanctions were supposed to bring the Russian economy to its knees - why is it that its our banks that are collapsing?... Always trust The New York Post to come up with some of the best headlines... Would still like to hear an album of Barry White love songs covered using Stephen Hawking's digital voice. Someone please make that happen... The Germans have a word "kummerspeck" which means excess weight gained from emotional overeating. It literally translates as "grief bacon." Now I wonder if the Germans also have a word for "happiness bacon?"... Is it ironic for a performer playing an acoustic guitar on his own to play anything from The Band? Or is it just me?... What if great scientists had logos?... Still not convinced that Aaron Rodgers' "darkness retreat" wasn't some sort of Andy Kaufman-like prank he was playing on the NFL media... Re-reading Charles Dickens' Great Expectations for the first time since high school. While reading it I couldn't help but wonder if Horacio Alger based all his "rags to riches" characters on Pip.
