Miscellaneous thoughts and observations.
All my life the Teamsters have been synonymous with Democratic Party support but with the out of control gas and diesel prices you have to wonder if most union members are thinking "The money going to pay for higher gas costs could have been going to pay for higher wages and benefits instead." If the Biden Administration doesn't undo some of their policies that have handcuffed US energy production - could you see a massive shift in party loyalty from the Teamsters in the next election?... Most hotel chains offer a AAA discount. Based upon recent actions I have to wonder if Disney will soon be offering a NAMBLA group discount... Have to wonder if the weakness of the Russia military displayed in their quagmire of an invasion of Ukraine may have European nations thinking, "We could handle Russia without the US." Those EU nations are seeing good reasons to believe so - especially in the light of the weakness of the Biden Administration. Wondering if this could somehow weaken NATO?... Have a friend who told me he doesn't see the big deal in teaching CRT (Critical Race Theory for those of you living under a rock) in school. So I asked he/him how he'd feel if high school students had to study Donald Trump's The Art of the Deal in order to graduate. Not sure if I made my point but I enjoyed seeing his face turning red all the same... If Joe Biden loves electric vehicles so much - why does his Presidential motorcade still use fossil fuels?... Can Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla be tried for genocide? How many people have to die before Pfizer's death count qualifies?... Just as an aside - I'd fully support term limits of 3-terms for Senators (18-years) and 5-terms for Congress (10-years). The office of President is limited to 2-terms so why not the Senate and Congress?... Seriously when I was growing up saying someone was in NAMBLA was an insult, "NAMBLA called - they said you're late with your annual membership dues." But now Disney has come out in support of talking about sex with children in grades K-3? That's sick and certainly not progress... In a Mitt Romney vs Tulsi Gabbard fight - give me Tulsi.
