Reminded of the Hemingway quote of how people go broke slowly them all of a sudden. That quote seems apt regarding the Japanese currency situation which has lost roughly 6% of its value the last 3 weeks… What’s bigger news? That Timberwolves swept Phoenix’ “Super Team” in four games or that Minnesota coach Chris Finch ruptured his patella in a collision with a player? Finch will eventually heal but the stain of the Suns team is going to last a long time… As great as the Bruins have been reminder that Bruins captain, and long time Boston stalwart Brad Marchand just passed Cam Neeley in all-time franchise playoff goals with his 56th goal. A reminder of how great Neeley was before his career was cut short because of injury... Cool - a real-life 50’s version of The Simpsons generated by AI… One of the saddest aspects of the Japanese currency decline is all the Bitcoin bros saying, “See I told you”… The left wants to ban menthol cigarettes but the Democrats don't want to move until after the election because they fear blacks will (rightly) think this ban is aimed at them. And their support among black voters is suddenly tenuous. Don't smoke but I still find this dilemma funny... “Ernest Hemingway, Albert Einstein, Chris Lynch, Stanley Kubrick.” Having read those names - now I want you (selfishly) to subliminally associate them… The Kentucky Derby is next Saturday. Not sure what my picks will be yet but I know I'll be watching...  Saturday night was the White House Correspondents Dinner. I can remember when this was a big deal. Now? Hardly… Been criticized by some for posting so much Tucker Carlson content yet Tucker's videos dwarf viewership numbers of Seinfeld at its peak and nobody ever complained about any commenting on Seinfeld...
