Greek drama was geared to entertain Athenian masses and Shakespeare's plays the same for Elizabethan crowds of the day. They weren't considered high art when they first came out. Makes you wonder if Steven Spielberg's movies will be looked at as high art by future generations... Learn something new every day: when Michael Jordan broke the scoring record for the NBA playoffs with 63 - he did so without a single 3-pointer. That makes it more incredible... Analysis true!... Choir of Kept Women would be a good name for an all-girls band... Raymond Chandler once called the Oscars the "annual tribal dance of the stars and the big-shot producers" in Hollywood. I like that description... Wonder what would be easier to find in an elementary school library - a copy of the Bible or pornography? Think you know the answer. Also the reason many parents are choosing to homeschool their kids... Analysis true!... Other People's Views would be a good name for a blog or Substack account about politics or for a new social media platform... There's some noise about the Patriots trading their number 3 pick in the upcoming NFL draft to some team offering them a slew of picks. Don't think this will happen because only a team with lots of picks and a dire need of a QB would be willing to make such a deal but who needs a QB worse than New England? Also think think trading down would lead to a loss of interest and ticket sales for the team... Heh Heh... Former Bruins captain Zdeno Chara ran the Boston Marathon on Monday and six days later finished the London Marathon in 3:11 - a personal best time. Legend!... One of my favorite bits of trivia is that the day Kevin Youkilis was born is the same day Sony announced the Walkman. Seems fitting... A great insult is to say someone has "lost touch with their brains." Can also be another way to say "brain fart." "I temporarily lost touch with my brain"...
