Miscellaneous thoughts and observations.

New England's loss to the Raiders yesterday was one of the most awful out of nowhere losses in my lifetime. Only the ball between Buckner's legs in the 1986 World Series was more out of nowhere (and more painful)... Some people are upset with Twitter's new policy of not allowing the promotion of Mastodon or other platforms on Twitter. People upset at this change do not live in the real world. If you owned a bar and a rival bar owner came into your place talking about their beers specials, food offerings or live music to your patrons - that rival would be scratched from your establishment in a heartbeat... The sad thing is the Pats scored 21 unanswered points in the second half and the defense did a great job shutting down the Raiders best offensive weapon Davante Adams. But now all anyone will remember from that game is that stupid lateral... Joe Rogan once said that "masks are like the Democrats' MAGA hats." How so very true. If you see a person still wearing a  mask - there's a 99% chance they vote Democrat... Getting pretty sick of the Antonelli's and their damn cheese shop... Really hope Elon Musk putting up a poll to see if he should remain as CEO of Twitter is just a trap to get all remaining bots out of the woodwork. He needs to remain in charge of Twitter... Unfixed Cats would be a good name for a band of single guys... It's quite possible that Elon Musk already has a successor CEO for Twitter picked out. Hope so and that this Twitter poll was just a ruse and not some poorly thought out, jet lagged decision... Before he passed away there was a website that let you know if Abe Vigoda was still alive or not. Someone should make a similar website for Keith Richards... Have to admit when you're wrong and I was wrong about the Qatar World Cup. I thought it would be a disaster but because of the competition and the historically great final between Argentina and France - this was one of the most memorable World Cups ever. Even the sudden deaths of three members of the media seem to be unrelated to the heat in Qatar or their authoritarian regime (vaccination status seems to be the lingering question).
