One year to go until the election of 2024 is in the books. And all those political commercials and emails can finally end... I think people applauded when FDR put Japanese-Americans in concentration camps too... Any religion that has a basic tenet that God invented work mainly as a punishment may have me as a follower. They would also heavily have to involve bacon too... Pakistan is ejecting 1.7 million Afghans. As a reminder they couldn't be bothered with ejecting Osama bin Laden. America had to go in and kill him... When I was kid I could watch Monty Python and the Flying Circus or Benny Hill Show and my parents didn't care. I had good parents... Do you think they could randomly insert this into a movie today?... Jeff Bezos is leaving Seattle and selling his $79 million mansion to move to Miami instead. Seattle is falling apart before our eyes... Who knew? Ted Rall is credited by many for having invented the idea of Guaranteed Basic Income, Yes that Ted Rall... Have to admit that I too am guilty of pleading to be so busy as a poorly disguised compliment to my own upscale work ethic. A learned reaction and excuse. Will try to break myself of this habit... Guessing Michigan is about to play someone New Mexico faces... Each day I've been posting Quotes for Today on my blog A Large Regular. I'm over a month ahead by this point but I write out each of those quotes individually so that I learn them. However, I'm still stuck by how timely many of these quotes happen to be in my life when they finally post... Heard the AC/DC song A Whole Lot of Rosie yesterday and I'm still stuck that the large 19 stone woman they sing about in the song 266 pounds which could make her an average WalMart shopper today... Congrats to Jed Fish and Arizona for becoming bowl eligible...
