The Ime Udoka situation and the Boston Celtics suspending him for a year is sad. It was a bad enough transgression that Udoka was suspended and his return to the team now in question. It was also bad enough that Udoka does not seem to be protesting the suspension. My life will not be improved in any ways by knowing the sordid details so I'm going to pass on any of those clickbait articles... Casino Security would be a good name for a fantasy football team... When's the last time you heard someone use the phrase, "ruddy complexion?" And was that person 100-years old?... People say there's nothing positive to come from the Udoka situation but I'm an eternal optimist and I think the silver lining is that now the pressure if off the young Celtics team for the first few months of the season. So they have that going for them... Free business idea - a marijuana delivery service (in states where its legal) called One Hour 420. You're welcome... When I was younger a "bender" was measured in days. Now they're measured in hours. Progress?... This is a freaky illusion. I can't get it to stop moving in my mind... Narcissism of Small Differences would be a good name for an Instagram account... Would be interested in a service that kept track of how many TV commercials each candidate ran. For candidates where I don't have a clear choice I would use the service to pick the candidate that ran the fewest commercials during football games (college and pro). Not quite a one issue voter but close... Everything old seems new again (1970's Stagflation, 1930's enthusiasm for Socialism and Communism, etc.) which is why I'm surprised there hasn't been a resurgence of Utopian thought and communes. Or maybe these modern Utopians are just trying things on a larger scale a la the World Economic Forum... Speaking of history, I would be so happy if I discovered that the suffragettes campaigning for Women's Right to Vote had a slogan somewhere that said, "The little man in a boat deserves a vote." My mind works differently than most... Stat of the day: Starlink now has 1 million end-user terminals manufactured... The minor leagues stat of the day: the Worcester WooSox finished the season with an attendance total of 532,152 for their season. That's impressive for a AAA baseball franchise...
