Bad news / good news. The bad news is the volcano under Yellowstone is a caldera that could erupt and destroy the US. The good news is it could also create enough lithium deposits to power the rest of the world's EV needs... What kind of person sexually harasses a rape survivor? Think Michigan State just got a "get out of jail free" card on their poorly thought out mega-contract with Mel Tucker... Now I know what I’ll be doing on 6/12/24… Who knew? There are only 15 members of the Football Hall of Fame in Canton that were undrafted. Thought Julian Edelman might be the 16th but he was drafted at 232nd and there's no guarantee that he gets elected (though I think he deserves it)... Strange as it seems but we may be at the point where the DNC is rooting for Donald Trump to win and against RFK Jr. while the RNC is rooting for RFK Jr. and against Trump. We're in bizarro world... Don't want credit for much but I do want to point out that I've been calling Slap Shot the greatest sports movie of all-time for over a decade... The Autumn Wind (is a Raider) is one of my favorite bits of poetry... Was not aware that Bronko Nagurski's real  first name is Bronislau. You learn something new every day... Before China stopped giving out "official" numbers they had youth unemployment at 21%. Many observers have it closer to 50% now. This is the same Chinese youth that would be called upon to bring the CCP to victory in a war or to propel the Chinese economy to new heights over America's. Ours is no great shakes either but I like our chances much better... Here's a tough question: who would you rather have as your kicker - an in his prime Adam Vinatieri or an in his prime Justin  Tucker?...  Today is September 11th - an anniversary we've been commemorating every year since those planes went into the Twin Towers. Now the White House doesn't even have anything planned. Is this date bound for the fate of VJ Day where 49 out of 50 states don't even note the significance of the day with anything?...
