Was watching the Daytona 500 yesterday and I couldn't help but wonder if NASCAR would ever consider letting Tesla make one of their cars the official pace car. Guessing not because most of the cars are either Fords or Chevys and also Tesla currently doesn't do any advertisements or sponsorships. Do think it would be cool though... Would be interesting to track the sales of classic Roald Dahl books versus the newly edited politically correct books. Guessing the classic versions outsell the new ones by at least 5-1... There's two types of people in the world - people who think Tiger Woods handing Justin Thomas a tampon after Woods out drove the younger Thomas is just a joke (and a funny one at that) among friends and then the Karens who would like to report Tiger Woods to the manager... Heard a critic say that Christian Bale was a fine Batman but a great Bruce Wayne. That he made Wayne a real character. Never thought about it like that but think its 100% correct... World War III begins - mylar balloons hardest hit... Would it surprise anyone if Disney decided to re-make The Little Mermaid but made Arial black, and made Ursula the good guy and King Neptune the bad guy? I mean all the sexually ambiguous Ursula wanted was Arial's beautiful voice and was willing to both give Arial human legs and show her "a whole new world" in exchange. King Neptune is obviously the embodiment of the patriarchy. Surprised this hasn't been greenlit already... Would it surprise anyone if the people at Microsoft built in code into their Bing Chatbot to talk disparaging about Google and if in return the folks at Google built code into theirs to talk smack about Microsoft, ChatGPT, and Bill Gates. This is how the the robot wars begins… Somebody has had to have made this crack before but wouldn't it be hilarious if Kamala Harris' Secret Service code name was "Kneepads?"... The week after FDR famously said, "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself" he took America off the gold standard because he was afraid the economy was going to crater. I find that ironic... Since today is President's Day just a reminder that George Washington wasn't perfect.
