The win by Michigan over Ohio State on Saturday was stunning. Who saw that beatdown coming?... Have long had a theory that the worse the movie - the more ads you will see for it after it is released. Good movies don't need the ads because of positive word of mouth and reviews. This also seems to be true about the COVID vaccines. Why the needs for all these ads urging you to get the vaccines if they work so well?... By the transitive property Notre Dame beat Purdue, Purdue beat Michigan State and Michigan State beat Michigan therefore Notre Dame greater than Michigan... Lords of Misrule would be a good name for a band (or the title of a history of the Biden Administration)... Instant Entropy would be a good name for a demolition company... For the third year in a row - all the Thanksgiving NFL games were won by the road teams. Need to file that info away for next year... If you think about it - the novel Moby Dick is an exhaustive story about an elaborate murder-suicide... NYC's motto used to be "I Love NY" but now I think "Held Up with Menaces" would be more appropriate... The vaccine mandates seem like a sure way for the left hand of the Democratic Party to cut off their right hand. All unions (except possibly the increasingly unpopular teachers unions) seem to be 100% against them. This includes police, fire, nursing, trucking, postal, you name it - all oppose the mandates. It's like the Democratic Party wants union membership to vote for Republicans... Intolerant Spiteful Bastards would be a good name for an old school country and western band... If someone asks me if I believe in any conspiracy theories - I will say yes and then tell them how I'm convinced corporate interests have gerrymandered US Senate seats. Then I'll sit back to see if they figure out that I'm messing with them... Speaking of conspiracy theories - somewhere some Big Pharma marketing executive is making the argument that if they simply relabeled vitamin D3 shots as "Smallpox Boosters" billions could be made by requiring the boosters by all school-age children. Why not? We've already opened Pandora's box... Have another theory - if you videoed couples at a restaurant I'm guessing you could gauge how long the couple has been together by the number of words spoken during the meal. The fewer the words the longer the couple has been together. First dates on the other hand would have the most words spoken (unless it was a bad first date then there could be a lot of awkward silences)... There WAS. There WAS a band, indie-poppish, I think, called Tammy & The Lords Of Misrule. Mid- to late 1990s if I recall correctly.
