Never thought of it this way before but the Spanish Prime Minster wants Europe to recognize Palestine yet at the same time he opposes a separate state of Catalonia or for Basque. There's multiple words for an attitude like that. Hypocrite and anti-Semite come to mind... Poker player Kenna James says you should take into account the cost of re-buy in relation to the prize pool but never re-buy into a tournament more than twice. News you can use... Also did not know this - South Korea, Estonia, and Poland are are richer today than the US was in 1981. Ain't capitalism grand... Sad to learn of the passing of TV icon Marty Kroft aged 86. Kids of a certain age all watched at least one Sid & Marty Kroft production whether it be on Saturday morning or during the holidays... Analysis true! Russ Roberts says, "The goal of the NYT is circulation/ revenue not truth. Their subscriber base skews left and anti-Israel." Agree 100%... Also true... I'm a big Tom Brady fan but I recognize this as a pretty sick burn about Brady’s criticism of the NFL. Barry Sanders, "Maybe he's watching the teams he played for, not the one I played for." Gotta laugh at that... Did not know that but according to Patrick Collison, the aggregate revenue built on Stripe is now equal to 1% of the world's GDP. Impressive!... Also true... Has Effective Altruism suddenly become the Phrenology of the 21st century? Not a perfect metaphone but it works... One of the most incredible stats I've seen - Tony Gwynn has more assists in college basketball (590) than strikeouts in the MLB (434)...
