If there were a Go Fund Me for a Joe Rogan lawsuit against CNN it would raise enough money to buy an NBA team. Of course this would require Rogan being interested in suing CNN in the first place but that's clearly not the case... Primordial Atoms would be a good name for a band (or a physics blog)... Interesting hypothesis - has the advent of instant replay greatly diminished home field advantage? Consciously or unconsciously all the coin-flip calls in the past used to seem to go to the home team by the refs. With instant replay that bias has been mostly eliminated.. I consider myself a traditionalist in that in a refrigerator I prefer the freezer on top. Not on the bottom or on the side. On the top. As God intended...  Sweden has basically removed all COVID restrictions and after 16 days daily COVID infections are down 22%. Why aren't people like Bernie Sanders still saying we should be more like Sweden?... If the same standard that was applied to Jon Gruden's private emails were applied to most Wall Street firms you'd literally have to fire over 50% of traders and top executives... The discussion between Rogan and Sanjay Gupta was very interesting. If you've only heard the clips you should do yourself a favor and listen to the whole thing. I'd also love to see what Joe could do with an Anthony Fauci interview... In an alternative universe Joe Biden is a neighborhood Red Rover and kickball coach who is distrusted and closely watched by the parents... Linked-In Sherpas would be a good name for a band (or a headhunter firm)... If you applied the Jon Gruden standard to Mark Cuban's Dallas Mavericks over the past 10-years there's no way Cuban would be allowed to keep his franchise. That team was run like a frat house... Remember the chapter in Albert Camus' The Plague where the government mandates the firing of a large number of healthcare workers? Yeah me neither... Every time I see a dead fruit fly in the head of my beer I think, "That's the way he wanted to die"... Why hasn't Taylor Swift commented on Jon Gruden's resignation? What is she trying to hide?... Scotland is 87% vaccinated and deaths from COVID are down yet all-cause deaths in the country are running 30% above the five-year average. Ask yourself why. Could it be the "cure" was actually worse than the disease? Could that also be true here?... Movie idea - from the people who brought you The Purge - Till Death Do Us Part. A society where divorce is illegal but killing your spouse is not... 2021 seems ripe for a comedian to have a new take on an old Jeff Foxworthy bit but instead of "You might be a redneck" it's "You may be stuck on stupid." So many, many potential punchlines and examples of people acting stupid repeatedly... In my opinion it is criminal that Warren Zevon is not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The irony is I doubt Zevon himself would give a damn about the honor. He'd just want you to appreciate your sandwich... According to the Pentagon the US Navy has had 14 deaths from COVID this year but 32 deaths from suicide in the same time period. Guess which one is considered an epidemic...
