Much of what passes as knowledge is actually ancient wisdom that has been repackaged or put into modern terms or language. I am simply quoting the words I have learned even though they may have come from an earlier source. The most important thing to remember is that knowledge just doesn’t happen. Nobody is just born with knowledge.
“No man was ever wise by chance.” - Seneca. Knowledge just doesn’t happen. You have to earn it.
“Those who keep learning will keep rising in life.” - Charlie Munger. It is impossible to name a single successful person who wasn’t a devoted learner.
“The more you learn, the more you’ll earn.” - Warren Buffett. Knowledge is the key to a good life in more ways than one.
“There is no better weapon than a prepared mind.” - Zhuge Liang
“All knowledge is worth having.” - Jacqueline Carey. You’ll never know what is important. Always be aware.
“Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning remains young. The greatest gift in life is to remain young.” - Henry Ford. Remain young by learning!
“Self-education is, I firmly believe, the only kind of education there is.” - Isaac Asimov. Schools or instruction are fine but everyone must rely upon their own efforts.
“Knowledge if not digested does not give nutrition, only adds weight.” - Osho
“Life’s tragedy is that we get old too soon and wise too late.” - Benjamin Franklin. Always remember you can never recapture lost time. Have no regrets about how you spend yours.
“In the modern world, courage is in shorter supply than genius.” - Peter Thiel. It is vitally important to be wise but not at the cost of your soul.
No one ever said it was an easy path but it’s one you need to follow - though each in their own way.
