Today is a big day for many. It’s MLK Jr. Day so many people are off from work, it’s Inauguration Day as Donald Trump gets sworn in as the 47th President of the United States, and tonight is the college football national championship game between Ohio State and Notre Dame. There will be a lot of day drinking going on today… Donald Trump nominated Marco Rubio to be Secretary of State. Do you think it’s also possible that Trump might nominate Ted Cruz to the Supreme Court if given the opportunity?... People still replay Ronald Reagan's farewell address. Do you think anyone in the future will be replaying Joe Biden's farewell address? Anyone who answered YES should have a mental health examination or works for Comedy Central... He's not wrong... Seriously doubt I could name a single SNL cast member these days. Probably been a decade since I bothered to watch it live and think at this point it stays on the air because no executive wants to go down in history as the person who cancelled SNL… Try as I might - I can’t think of anyone who was excited to watch Joe Biden’s inauguration. Meanwhile I’ve already been invited to multiple watch parties for Trump’s… Reminder that many of the kids who thought it was OK to eat Tide Pods are now protesting that Trump got elected President... Numerous career diplomats have been asked to resign by the incoming Trump Administration. Think their actions on the way out the door should be given extra scrutiny… Are we getting to the point where people who can read and write cursive are the modern equivalents to Navaho “Windtalkers” in World War II?… Think a good strategy for the incoming Trump team is to publicly tell China they are willing to reinstate TikTok under the previous rules if they are willing to give that same unfettered access to X in their country. This would be a no risk move by Trump. It won’t cost him anything and the CCP won’t risk giving citizens freedom of speech in China… Go Fighting Irish!…

Cursive: My grandchildren don't know "little hand is on the __ and the big hand is on the_" They also think cursive is some other-universe code. I print in all caps and that confuses them, so I've resorted to MS Word documents. All my writing to them looks like business correspondence.
