Yesterday Kash Patel testified in front of the Senate in an effort to be confirmed as the new head of the FBI. The news will be that he and Ted Cruz “exposed” Nancy Pelosi for turning down 20,000 National Guard on Jan 6th but for anyone paying attention Pelosi’s orchestration of this “event” was evident all along… Seems fitting that the first legislative bill President Trump signed into law in his second term was the Laken Riley Act. Appropriate on many levels... The idea of issuing Letters of Mark for private citizens to go after cartels could give rise to a whole new genre of Hollywood movie. Instead of former military going after casinos or armored cars - they could be going after Mexican drug cartels. Think of the potential action sequences... "Dear Senators, Bobby may play nice but I won't"... Think any Senator that has indicated they may vote against Kash Patel should be asked why they are so racist? Why do they hate all people of Indian heritage? Hey its their own rules… DHS head Kristi Noem announced that DHS will no longer fund any NGO's that facilitate immigration. The move is said to perhaps save $340 million. It would be great optics for President Trump to then announce $340 million in new federal aid for victims of the hurricanes in Florida and the Carolinas as well as fire victims in California and Hawaii (who seem to be forgotten at this point)... As a person of Irish descent - I'm more concerned with the number of us that seem to be predisposed to diabetes of some kind than that of alcoholism. Diabetes is no joke... Everything is bigger in Texas... We also got the news yesterday that Meta agreed to pay Donald Trump $25 million to settle a lawsuit about suspending his accounts. Meta has a great big guilty sign hanging around their neck... Here me out - if California does succeed from the Union shouldn't they also be required to take all the federal debt they've accumulated along with them? Wouldn't that leave the rest of the US in a much better financial position? I'd be immediately for building a wall around California too... Question that keeps you up at night: can the reduction in the birthrate be offset by the increase in longevity. What's the numbers needed for equilibrium?... Holy crap! Yesterday was also Tom Selleck's 80th birthday. Never would have guessed he was that old. He sure looks good for someone who just turned 80...

California will never go anywhere. Should the try, the water tap gets turned off to LA since all intra-state pacts would be null and void or abrogated for national security.
