The news about Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots mutually agreeing to part ways is surprising but not surprising… The Washington Post reportedly is losing $100 million a year. That's a lot of money even for Jeff Bezos and way over what an individual is supposed to give to a political party... For people who sill bemoan the US's use of atomic bombs to end World War II need to keep in mind that both Germany and Japan started their atomic programs well before America started the Manhattan Project. Germany under the Nazis and Japan's under the military... Google is permanently banning the channel of a person who interviewed Vivek Ramaswamy. Get the feeling that if they could censor any news that could harm Democratic politicians - they would... Pat McAfee announcing that Aaron Rodgers is "banned" from his program for the remainder of the NFL season is laughable. The Jets season is done - they didn't make the playoffs. He's just saying he's giving his friend some time off he could have easily taken anyways... Some under the radar news that may have been lost is that ESPN's Gameday many have gotten a number of Emmy's under false pretense. Supposedly none of the on-air talent was aware but it's fraud non-the-less... Whatever scientists on one side of the ideological spectrum can dream up whether it be atomic weapons or computer science, scientists on the other side can also dream up - and keep secret... Traumatized Masseuses would be a good name for a band (or a Cleveland sports blog)... Hill I'll die on - the US was right to drop the atomic bombs on Japan rather than lose countless military men and Japanese civilians invading the country. There's no debate in my mind or in Japan's for that matter... Learn something new each day: Nick Saban replaced Pete Carroll as the Ohio State DB's coach in the 1980's... Finding a way - the start-up AirBandB funded their early company by producing cereals called Obama O's and Captain McCain' during the 2008 Presidential election... More NFL news that may have gone under the radar: the Giants have dismissed defensive coordinator Wink Martindale after a heated disagreement with head coach Brian Daboll. I don't expect Martindale to be unemployed for long...
