Supposedly the hostage release deal called for Israel to stop fighting Hamas but said nothing about the US. These barbarians took Americans hostage in their October 7th attack and I hope Donald Trump tells Pete Hesgeth to let slip the dogs of war on them... Still amazing - SpaceX operates its second booster catch with its “chopstick” arms… One area I think AI could have a huge impact is on homeschooling students. Imagine a Khan Academy AI combined with their existing videos and how powerful that could be. There would be no need to send your children to public schools. Those education funds, if went directly to parents, could be used for new computers instead. That would be a boost to the technology sector too... Also don't be surprised if Trump tells Qatar they can no longer shelter Hamas leaders. That it's either Hamas or US relations and that these are not empty words - their choice and their next move... Gavin Newsome vetoed a bill on fire preparedness. Evil or incompetent? He’s one or the other - maybe both… Big believer in vitamin D. I try to get it naturally through sunlight in Spring, Summer, and Fall and through supplements in the Winter. There are clear medical studies that tout vitamin D and in this I'll follow the science... Imagine if Khan Academy changed the format of one or two of their videos a day and posted them on X - how many people would subscribe and watch those videos. Many would become religious in their viewing… This is significant. This could actually be the final nail in the coffin of the Department of Education as many states with a major college football program move their representatives in Congress to vote to end them. This could also lead to many colleges plugging for cheerleading to be named a sport and maybe cutting many non-revenue sports like swimming or gymnastics with a preponderance of women’s scholarships in response… Is the opposite of "spiraling out of control" - "spiraling in control?" Where it may seem you are going round and round but are actually spirally upwards... Learn something new every day: Benjamin Netanyahu's bother was killed while commanding the famous raid on Entebbe...

Booster catch: I wonder how many decimal places it takes; in what I guess are millions of calculations; to make everything happen from launch through end results. And here's a thought for you -- at what point on the "space race" would all have come to a stop if the best calculations were humans with slide rules.
