One of the highlights of the NFL schedule release is the announcement of the Harbaugh Bowl on MNF November 25th in LA. This will be the first times the brothers oppose each other on the field since Super Bowl XLVII. I expect to be in Miami to see the Patriots play the Dolphins the previous day. That’s the reason the release of the schedule is big for me - so I can make travel plans to the beach... If there's ever a nuclear war, super volcano explosion, meteor hitting the Earth or other devasting disaster - I want to be right in the middle of it and die instantly. Sure its cowardly but I don't want to live through the that aftermath... Could the NCAA really go bankrupt? Stranger things have happened - like the Pac 12 falling apart after 100-years... If Red Lobster gets down to a single restaurant will they insist on being called The Red Lobster?... This was pretty powerful... If I were a young lawyer I would specialize in suing for people who were fired because they refused to take the Covid vaccine or people who were victims of DEI. You'd be guaranteed to be successful... Some say that if Trump is re-elected that Elon Musk should receive his first Medal of Freedom. I disagree - that honor should go to Bill Belichick who was supposed to get the medal from 45 but the ceremony was postponed and never rescheduled. Would be fine with both receiving the award on the same day though... If you've lost Bluest Boston that's a bad sign for the Biden campaign... Is it possible that the Pac 12 could semi-reconstitute itself? Cal could get cold feet about joining the ACC and with the $10 million from UCLA the next 3-years and back to normal travel for sports - suddenly the Pac 12 doesn't look so bad. If Cal drops out of the ACC then Stanford and SMU may follow. Add in Fresno State and suddenly the Pac 12 is back to 6 teams and well on the way to its former size... WalMart posted better than expected earnings last quarter which is not surprising as the tighter a family budget gets the further the dollar may be stretched and the more shopping at WalMart instead of a pricier outlet. But the question must be asked - is what's good for WalMart good for America?... I agree with this idea 100%...
