Have to wonder if legalized sports betting would make some states more conservative. A test will be Vermont in January 2024. I could see people having months of losing out on money they don't have to realize the overreaching of government and voting for more small government-type candidates. Vermont provides the perfect test case in November of 2024... One reprecussion of the pandemic lockdowns is the world no longer trusts "experts" - who have proven to be wrong way more often they are right. This follows on the heels of many realizing most of the news is made up of fake news following the 2016 and 2020 elections...Wait mRNA vaccines in animals? How about - NO! Why does anyone trust people like Bill Gates?... It was 12-years ago this week that the Boston Bruins won their last Stanley Cup by beating Vancouver 4-0 in game 7. Never saw an athlete go from hero to memoryholed quicker than Tim Thomas. Honestly, when's the last time you heard his name?... Glenda Jackson has passed away. She'll awlways be remember by me as the first person to use the phrase "see you next Tuesday" in the vastly underrated Hopscotch with Walter Matthuau... Interesting - the DOJ is investigating the legitamacy of the PGA-LIV merger that shocked so many. While I like this move - I'm also wondering if the DOJ is doing this because so many pro golfers are Republicans... I've come to appreciate the genius of Tucker Carlson. The Twitter video has 2 million hits as I type this. Wonder how many million it will have when you click it... .Also enjoying an anniversary this week is Batman Begins which came out 18-years ago this week. Christopher Nolan remains the best director and Christian Bale remains the best Batman the franchise has ever seen... Find it amusing that Stewert Mandel seems amused (and I like Mandel) that more people watched the Pinstripe Bowl than the Stanley Cup clinching game. Not saying anything about the Stanley Cup Final being a series of games and the Pinstripe Bowl being a single game up against little or no competition but I would love to see how Mandel's college football podcasts compares to baking podcasts... OK - I'll say it! JFK Jr. is in great shape and has huge pipes. Don't think people aren't noticing... The Cats of Queen Beruthiel would be a good name for a band...
