The CEO of Allstate called for "unity and acceptance" in a pre-recorded message at yesterday's Notre Dame victory over Georgia in the Sugar Bowl. It should come as no surprise that Allstate has a robust DEI program (though they call it IDE). Should also be no surprise if people start leaving Allstate in droves after this clueless message after a terrorist attack caused the game itself to be delayed a day... The Las Vegas terrorist wanted to blow up a Cybertruck in front of Trump Tower in an effort to "get back" at both Trump and Musk but only succeeded only in blowing up himself and showing how indestructible the body of a Cybertruck is... Unpopular opinion but I say that Bob Seger was the better artist than Bruce Springsteen. Seger actually had 13 songs in the Top 10 nationwide while Springsteen only had 12. Think Springsteen is held in higher regard because he's from the Northeast and journalists loved his working man persona (which he admits was a schtick) while Seger was from the Midwest and was a favorite in biker bars... Business idea that’s probably already been done but a poster superimposing Donald Trump’s face on Gandolf saying, “I come to you at the turning of the tide”… Keep saying that high school shop class and home economics should be part of every school's curriculum. If the school you send a child to doesn't offer it then demand they do. If they refuse - find another school or homeschool... A great PR move would be for Israel to place a large order for Cybertrucks for their military based upon how it handled the Las Vegas terrorist bomber... Another sign that Bob Seger was superior to Bruce Springsteen is when you hear one of their songs being played - how often is the song Seger playing live while the Springsteen song is the studio version because honestly he didn't have that great a voice... Speaking of Lord of the Rings but today would have been JRR Tolkien’s 132nd birthday… Was not aware of this until reading about it yesterday but Cam Scattebo of Arizona State was named the Peach Bowl MVP after having a monster 143 yard rushing, 99 yards receiving, and a passing TD. He's the first player from a losing side to be named MVP of the game in 26-years... Recent study shows that a rise in estrogen can cause binge drinking in females. Guys at last call have been aware of this for decades...

I agree with you on Springsteen. I grew up at "the shore" as we say in NJ. I saw him in concert in the early 80s which was enough for me. I have a friend that's been to over 50 of his concerts - I just don't get it. That said, I know a lot of folks that have had encounters with him and they all say he's very nice. You don't hear that about every famous person.
