I hope the Netflix special completely backfires on the Red Sox and team ownership. John Henry is a shit termite... Did Deep Purple start as a prog band? That's the question that comes to mind after hearing their first "hit" Child in Time but according to Chat GPT they did not but instead started as a "psychedelic rock and hard rock band." They obviously have elements of prog rock especially in their earlier music though... I keep watching this... Yale becomes another Ivy League school to once again require standardized tests for admission. The Earth is beginning to heal... Sigmund Freud once famously said, "Where does a thought go when it is forgotten?" That's one of the primary reasons I do these Flotsam and Jetsam posts. If I don't write down a thought or observation - I forget it... EV car maker Rivian is on track to lose $2.7 BILLION this year and you have to wonder how long is the runway for this startup... Count me among those effected by yesterday's cell service outage. Honestly didn't effect me much as long as I still had Internet and physical content. Think there's a lesson there... Now I want to know where this golf course is... No surprise as Google paused their AI image generating software as they became the butt of so many jokes for how woke their AI was. Think all things that are obviously woke should be mercilessly mocked... Remember years ago when the temperatures in Florida were slightly higher than they are now and my family was staying at Disney World. Me and the kids were in the pool and the only other people in the hotel pool were a dad and his kids. The lifeguards are all wearing winter coats. That other family was from Minnesota and we all thought the weather was great... Shakespeare once famously wrote to first kill all the lawyers. Think if he was alive today he'd be quoted as first get rid of the all the HR departments... Dying of Sloth would be a good band name...
