The Boston Celtics won last night over the Dallas Mavericks 107-89. It was a fairly easy victory but Boston has seen lopsided game one Finals victories before. Don’t get cocky… Yesterday was the 56th anniversary of Robert Kennedy Sr. being assassinated by Sirhan Sirhan a Palestinian protesting Israel’s victory in the Six Day War. Never forget that fact... Not hard to imagine that if the NFL loses the Sunday Ticket trial that it could be the death knell for DirecTV and a boon to both CBS and Fox as they could use the decision to put all of the games they are currently broadcasting on their streaming services and let subscribers choose what they want to watch instead of just a single game in that market. The NFL could be made whole financially by the broadcast packages becoming that much more valuable as it gives people a reason to sign up for those streaming services... Joe Biden in his own words and actions... The Los Angeles Lakers seem set to hire UConn's Dan Hurley as their new head coach. This is an excellent move on paper... Surprised that we haven't seen an ad stating that the Special Prosecutor ruled that Joe Biden was too feeble to stand trial - not that Hunter Biden was. The ad would remind people of Biden's dementia while at the same time reminding people of Hunter's role as the "bag man" for the "Big Guy." If Hunter gets off or has a minimal penalty in his gun trial it will also reinforce the two-tier justice system those in power created in this country especially the Democrats and Joe Biden. It simply could be a voice over using Biden’s D-Day appearance as video... Good golf tip... New England Patriots new HC is Jarrod Mayo while top draft pick was QB Drake Maye. Will be interesting to watch how many people get those last names confused... The DirecTV trial is important to me because my girlfriend is a Dolphins fan and most Sundays we have to find a place that has the Sunday Ticket. That's national chains like Hooters and Buffalo Wild Wings plus certain local sports bars. If the NFL loses the trial potentially more places could offer the streaming package. DirecTV charges way too much for most places as it stands... Tucker Carlson with El Salvador's President Bukele... I feel the same way about political polls as I do about mock drafts - neither are worth your time or paying attention to... Its been reported that nearly half of ACP (affordable connectivity program) subscribers were military members or military families. This is basically a program the provides Internet connectivity for just $30 per month. More than anything I think this underscores how poorly paid the military are in this country... Remember the joke they tried to foist on everyone when all the commentators at the same time were trying to give Donald Trump the nickname "Trumpo" and how badly that went over? Remember that when you hear the concerted chorus of the claims of "convicted felon" today...
