Reportedly the Department of Education's 2024 budget is just over $87 billion which is roughly 10% of the amount the US will pay in interest for the national debt. It would be a start... Wonder why this is? It’s as if they approve of one but not the other… When you think you couldn’t respect author Lois L’ Amour any more you learn he just missed being encircled by the Germans at the Battle of the Bulge. The show Band of Brothers could have easily made the fictional Jimmy Fallon character named L’ Amour and it would have been more historically accurate… Ford is slowing the design and announcement of any new EV’s and coming out with more “hybrid” models. Think many of the major existing manufacturers will follow suit… Think that any Democrat platform from before 30-years ago or more would be viewed as “far-right” now… I feel seen… The classic Jules Verne book Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea originally came out on 1870 and the action was supposedly set in 1867. The Battle of the Ironclads between the Monitor vs the Merrimac was only in 1862. Verne was truly before his time with that submarine technology in his book… Used to think that Mac Davis sang the song Knocking on Heaven’s Door. Would also have bet that Bob Dylan would have been the first to pass between them. Was wrong on both counts… Many items have a credit pricing and a lower cash price - like gas for example. How could certain politicians say they are in favor of digital currency only (credit) and also stand for the “common man” when they are trying to force higher prices on them? Does that make sense to anyone?… In Verne’s classic Captain Nemo’s Nautilus was powered 100% by electric. It was truly the first EV in history. Reminder the book came out in 1870 - well before any automobile of any kind was ever manufactured…
