Supposedly Antonio Brown is about to get arrested for failure to pay child support. Clearly his dad us not President... Do you need to lose weight? Have you tried communism?... Both Tim Ferriss and Naval Ravikant have spoken of the need to quiet their "monkey mind." This is an ancient Buddhist description of the churning of the ego. Makes a lot of sense when seen in that light... Saw a picture of Sebastian Cabot. And was sure that it was Lucio Pavarotti. Have they ever been pictured in the same room? That would make an awesome movie if they were the same person living two different lives... Supposedly August is National Wellness month. It's also National Back to School month. Does anyone pay attention to these things?... The Wisdom of Insecurity would be a good name for a blog or Substack about Washington D.C. politics... Reminder that if you go to a concert you should treat it like attending a football game and get there early and tailgate. Makes everything easier and more enjoyable... Dirty Myrtle would be a good name for a band or for a MILF adult actress… Naval Ravikant likes to remind us that life is temporary and everything will turn to dust so we need to remember that but still get our work done. Which is similar to a Buddhist saying that nothing lasts - including us... Just saying but you could replace the name Merrick Garland in any article with Janet Reno and the article would not be greatly changed. That should tell you all you need to know about Merrick Garland... Having Donald Trump be interviewed by Tucker Carlson was a sneaky way for Elon Musk to get Trump back on X. It now stands as the most viewed interview of all-time ahead of Oprah's interview of Michael Jackson. I keep saying we are watching the ascendency of the new media over corporate media in real time... Pleased that Dan Harris chose to describe Eckhart Tolle and his teachings as as "unattributed Buddhism" in his book 10% Happier. Also can't help but notice that Tolle's story is basically the Buddha's story in reverse. The Buddha lived in poverty as a wandering monk for six years until he found enlightenment under the Bodhi tree. Tolle found enlightenment then spent six years in poverty enlightened but living homeless on park benches. Do you believe in coincidences?... I'm old enough to remember the birth of the College Football Alliance. Then again I'm older than 2-years old... If relegation existed in the GOP Party both Chris Christie and Michael Pence would be in the process of being replaced today... Know that the movie The Sandlot just turned 30-years old but honestly I've never seen it...
