So many people have stopped buying Bud Light (and Budweiser) because of their transgender spokesperson that you have to wonder if Bud Light will be toppled as the most popular beer brand in the US. This would have been unthinkable just last year... People seem really invested in the question of if and how Elon Musk can possibly make Twitter profitable. I find it amusing that nobody seems to ask the same question regarding Jeff Bezos and the Washington Post. I guess people just assume that newspapers are a money pit that can't be fixed... Always amused to see a Great Cuts commercial because the people getting haircuts all have great hair to begin with. Would like to see a brand called Greater Cuts where the people who sit in the chairs all have problematic hair but are made to have great haircuts by the end of the commercial. That would be much more impressive to me... Bud Light is lucky they no longer do "Born On" dates otherwise there'd be a crap ton of March 2023 and April 2023 cases of beer languishing in warehouses... Funny that you can get +$3500 odds on Tom Brady winning the 2024 Presidential election. Not so funny is those are the same odds for Tulsi Gabbard and Rand Paul - two actual politicians I wouldn't mind seeing in the White House... It gets worse for Budweiser - we are at the point where the words "Bud Light" themselves have morphed into a homophobic slur. "Mommy the kids at school said I run the bases like a Bud Light"... Right now Donald Trump is the big betting favorite to be the Republican nominee for President in 2024 at -$200 (you'd have to risk $200 to win $100). Ron Desantis is second at +$225... Here's a business idea - the elderly receive three times as many spam calls as young people and are more prone to falling for scam emails. Someone should come out with an AI filter that screens all incoming calls and emails for old people. Should be easy enough - just needs a catchy name... Wonder if in the near future popular culture will look at Trump as some sort of modern Nostradamus because he's been right about so many things. It would be be amusing if the phrase "Just as Trump predicted!" entered the popular lexicon in a non-ironic way... "I was captain of the football team but do people call me captain? I saved a child from burning building but do people call me a hero? But you drink one Bud Light"...
