As a kid I enjoyed the jingle "If I could buy the world a Coke" on the commercial but as an adult I keep thinking that if I had that kind of money I'd move to an island nation instead... After seeing a clip of the documentary, Ride with Larry, I can't help but wonder if Michael J. Fox has tried medical marijuana for his Parkinson's... Two pieces of advice I try to incorporate into my own life are not to multitask but concentrate on a single activity if possible - at all times. Also do not be a slave to your email inbox. Just because someone sent you an email doesn't mean you have a new task. If they get impatient that's their problem... The Catholic diocese of Worcester has instituted a policy on athletics, school sponsored dances, school uniforms, plus shower and bathroom usage based upon gender with there only being two recognized genders. Imagine this will get a lot of vocal criticism but much more support. Also guessing that Muslim schools have had similar policies for a long time but nobody will dare criticize that... Recently saw that since June 4th the Yankees are 24-36 which is right in line with the A's ($30 million 2023 payroll), Royals ($45 million), Rockies ($75 million) and Pirates ($35 million). But he ate real food instead of processed junk. Americans are for the most part obese but we still can't connect any dots... Palmer Luckey founded Oculus Rift and sold it to Facebook for $2 billion in 2014. His new company, Andrulil, focuses on cutting edge defense technology and is backed by Peter Thiel among others. The company currently has a valuation of $1.9 billion. Andruil may be even more valuable than Oculus... You have to wonder if corporate media everywhere has just agreed to pretend that Stacy Abrams doesn't exist. I mean - come on!... Not really interested in the Michael Oher saga (much preferred the book to the movie) but one fact that I find interesting is that Hugh Freeze (yes that Hugh Freeze) was Oher's high school football coach. Ray McKinnon (who played the reverend on Deadwood) was coach Cotton in the movie. Now I feel lied to. Hugh Freeze as Oher's high school football coach? Now that's a movie I'd like to see... Most successes are based upon asking and solving the "dumb" questions that hide in plain sight. Try to see the world with new eyes and ask "why" like a child would. Success may follow...
