It will be interesting to see how the Democrats will balance inciting people to violence over the Roe v Wade decision while at the same time peddling the January 6th insurrection narrative. The hardcore Democrats won't see the hypocrisy or how they are being manipulated but hopefully enough in the middle see through the crass words and actions and vote the bums out come November... If you removed live games and SportsCenter it seems these days there's a 50/50 chance that if you turn on ESPN you'll find a program featuring Stephen A. Smith or Michael Greenberg. Talk about feeling like an absolute moron... We've had a War on Poverty, a War on Drugs, and a War on Terror. How come it's not a War on Climate?... One of the great "what if's" in sports history happened in 1979 when the Los Angeles Lakers and the Chicago Bulls flipped a coin to see who would have the first pick of the 1979 NBA Draft. The Lakers won the coin flip and drafted Magic Johnson. If the Bulls had won the coin flip Magic was going to return to college at Michigan State. Imagine how basketball could have been different of if Chicago called tails instead of heads?... Screaming Meat would be a good name for a punk cover band... Nitwit! Blubber! Oddment! Tweak! (Those words will always be magical to me.)... One of my favorite history nuggets was the fact that Alexander Hamilton's son was also named Alexander Hamilton and that he represented Aaron Burr's wife in the divorce suit against the man who killed his father. Aaron Burr died the day the divorce was made official... As always if this column has made you smile or think - don't be afraid to hit the like button.
