Some Democrats have come out in favor of censoring platforms like Twitter in cases where bank runs may be involved. This is asinine. Certain VC's came to the conclusion that SVB's situation was unstable and moved to pull out their funds ASAP. Do you not think these same VC's didn't privately text and call their friends or companies they invested in to do the same? Keeping information from the general population because they somehow can't be trusted is asinine... Harvey Earl once famously said, "General Motors is in business for only one reason. To make money. In order to do that we make cars. But if we could make money making garbage cans, we would make garbage cans." Not sure if that's true today as GM is trying to shed 50% of its US jobs in order to reduce losses. Too bad there's no money in Digital Equity and Inclusion. Then GM would be rolling in it... Laughed too much at this… Reminder that China is complicit in the War in Ukraine as they were able to get Putin to concede not to start his "special military operations" until after the Beijing Winter Olympics. China is our enemy and should be treated as such... META (formerly Facebook) announced plans to lay of 10,000 employees and to not fill 5,000 open positions in its second round of job cuts in the last 6 months. Is it me or has it been all downhill since Mark Zuckerberg announced the name change and shift to the virtual world?... Charlton Heston once said, "Political correctness is tyranny with manners." Think today Woke Culture could be described as tyranny without manners... The old Twitter regime allowing the proliferation of child porn and exploitation is perhaps the biggest underreported scandal of my lifetime. Right up there with the suppression of Jeffrey Epstein's client list. The only explanation I can think of (if you'll allow me a little alliteration) would be pedophiles placed in powerful positions...
