I'd be 100% in favor of opening investigations on any public official, either State or Federal, who had more than $250,000 in liquidity exposed in the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank or any bank. How would these people legitimately have more than $250,000 in checking or savings accounts on government salaries?... With all the talk about UFO's I'm surprised that Dennis Kucinich isn't back in the news. His campaign for President became a joke after he admitted that he saw a UFO over Shirley MacLaine's house. Someone should interview him to see if he feels vindicated... Personally believe that the ESG policies and the woke culture of SVB isn't getting enough attention. When any business - especially banks which are supposed to be careful in nature - start thinking doing "good" for society is more important than being a good, sound business - then that's a path to ruin. Companies that don't learn from this and ditch ESG and ancillary woke policies will face the same problems of SVB and Disney and all woke companies... A while back I suggested that all military bases in the US should be equipped with a Gen 4 nuclear power plant and any States that denied the license of the power plant should lose their military base. Occurred to me that this would be a great way to ensure only red states had tanks and fighter jets if a new Civil War ever happened... Speaking of SVB didn't Bernie Madoff also hand out bonuses just before his house of cards collapsed too?... Exhibit A on why I haven't read Forbes in decades... The Box Office would be a good name for a strip club... It's one thing for Douglas Adams to say "Don't panic" but something altogether different for the CEO of a bank to say it... Great question! "Would you rather have a free $1,000,000 that is actively managed by Jim Cramer for the next 5 years, or a free chicken sandwich from Chic-fil-A?"... On this day in 1961 a US Air Force B-52 bomber crashed near Yuba City, California while carrying nuclear bombs. Don't think people realize how many time nukes have almost went off either accidently or in anger...
