Easter is another holiday much like Christmas or the 4th of July when I almost feel guilty for posting on my blog or Substack. But that won’t stop the thoughts from coming so withholding them somehow feels even more wrong… The Harvard vs Trump controversy can be summed up as Harvard saying "You can't force us to uphold the Bill of Rights" and Donald Trump saying "hold my beer." And Trump doesn't drink... Think it's funny that the Democrats are attacking Tesla's and the Tesla's are winning... Trump's first three months... Today is Easter and it is also 4-20 which means we could see a record amount of chocolate consumed today... Dr. Marty Makary removed all pharma executives from the FDA advisory committee and replaced them with patients and family caregivers. It was a common sense move but nobody before him wanted to make it... Like this idea... Italian PM Giorgia Meloni came to the White House to negotiate a trade deal with Donald Trump. There seems to be a real friendship between the two. I'd expect Trump to be visiting Italy soon. VP JD Vance is already there... Touching post from Kirk Herbstreit. (Also worth noting that Herbstreit's on X but not on Facebook)... The sad truth is that 70% of healthcare costs in the US are related to chronic diseases. The healthcare system doesn't want to cure people - it wants repeat customers... The story behind The Passion of the Christ... True story - my first name is Christopher and growing up standardized test give you up to six places for your first name so I had the choice of going with "Chris" or "Christ." I always went with "Christ" because I figure who wants to give Jesus a bad grade. I started paving my road to hell early... Happy Easter to you and yours...
