Last administration Donald Trump had people musing about acquiring Greenland. This administration it’s retaking the Panama canal… Think the big winner in the country's shift back toward the center will be more and more people registering as Independents while the big loser will be the Democratic Party as people change their registrations from D to I. Needless to say - the biggest losers of all will be corporate media. Nobody trusts them anymore... Biologist E.O. Wilson once did an experiment where he painted dead ant pheromones on a live ant only to see the other ants carry that live ant out of hive often kicking and screaming. This seems an apt metaphor for the behavior of the modern DNC who kicked Trump, Elon Musk, Tulsi, RFK Jr. and others out. People voting Democrat aren't sheep as they've been described - they're ants... Surprised that Ohio State is actually the favorite against number 1 Oregon in the playoffs quarterfinal. Sure it's a narrow point spread (2.5 points) and its in a neutral site (Rose Bowl) but still surprising... In a moment of lucidity maybe the smartest thing Joe Biden did as president was chose Kamala Harris as his VP. Nobody wanted Kamala to be president and were willing to overlook Biden's clear mental decline to make sure that didn't happen... When considering Joe Biden commutation of the death penalty of so many prisoners on death row remember that George Washington actually had deserters hung during the Revolutionary War. I'm on the fence as far as the death penalty is concerned but these folks were all found guilty in a court of law and Biden literally did the opposite of what George Washington probably would have done... All I want for Christmas is for Gavin Newsome to ban Hot Wheels toys in California unless they are of EV's... Question that may only interest me but Las Vegas casinos lost money in people betting Notre Dame would make the playoffs but they also had a lot of exposure as Indiana was a big public bet Friday. After the Fighting Irish's blowout of the Hoosiers did these two bets cancel each out out?... When my kids were growing up our regular Christmas Eve traditions were each kid put on matching jammies made specially for that year, they would each have waffles and ice cream, and then I would read them The Polar Express and The Night Before Christmas.
